Felix Lie
Introduction
Hello everyone, my name is Felix and I am a senior in Michael G. Foster School of Business. I am very excited when it comes to volunteering in church activities and let me take you through my leadership journeys.
Commitment acts as a promise to my outside class responsibilities. It ties me with my responsibilities in the organization, it is important as it motivate me to work and made me become more professional. Adaptability refers to adjusting my action and behavior in the new environment. It is crucial to me as I will encounter new different environments throughout my life with different individuals in it. Honesty refers to telling the truth no matter if it’s a mistake or not. Honesty is important because trust from others has to be earned, and by being dishonest, people will not believe me. Ambition refers to what is to be achieved. It important to me because it act as a guidance to what I will do in the organization. Determination is the self-willingness to do a task or responsibility. To me, determination is important because it is the source of my motivation to work outside the class. Without willingness, it is difficult to performs activities like volunteers.
Enthusiastic Church Volunteer, Determined Treasury Intern and Motivated student grader are my unique leadership identities. I am an enthusiastic volunteer because I love what I do for the community, where I can help people and get to know my friends better. It is important because it creates balance between my social life and educational responsibilities. In addition, I also learned a lot of morals from everyone in the organization. I considered myself to be a determined intern because I am always motivated during my internship. The experience was very important to me as it gives the impression of a real-life working environment and I get the chance to the knowledge I learned in class. I am also a motivated student grader as I have to grade and provide feedbacks on homework and exams outside class. It is an important experience as I was able to work under the supervision of a senior lecturer where I learned a lot from him in addition, grading exams also made me learn about the materials as well.
I wish to be a part of a catholic organization because this religion was embedded in me since I was born. I feel that what am I, who am I, and what I do today was because of the valuable learnings taught in my religion. I treat volunteering in church as a get away from my classes by. In addition, members who gather together may eventually become close friends, therefore being involved in this organization may widen their circle of friends.
I envision myself to be professional, adaptable and open minded when engaging leadership in the future. Like I mentioned before, new things will come in the future and I have to be flexible with the changes by portraying good behavior and etiquette.

Leadership Philosophy
My Background
Everyone was born with zero knowledge and skills. As they grew and learn, leadership skills develop within individuals. Leadership refers to the ability of an individual to motivate others to achieve a certain positive objective with a collaboration of a group. Within that, some core values that leaders should have are to be responsible, balance between flexible and discipline, as well as open-minded. Being responsible as a leader is crucial as leaders are the individuals at fault if anything went wrong with an activity. Therefore, the pros and cons of a decision must be carefully thought off. Leaders must also be flexible and discipline. They should be able to distinguish situations where rules have to be followed or changed. Lastly, being open-minded is another important principle, because it shows that leaders are accepting new ideas and being thoughtful towards others.
Back in high school, people who are considered leaders are often referred as role models, where others have to follow their attitudes and achievements to succeed. For example, chosen Class President are usually a good example of students who will assist teachers in class activities. As I moved to college and now being a senior year student, my mindset on what leadership is really has fully changed. This happened because of the experience I went through, from group projects, up to volunteering. At first, I thought that leadership is someone who is discipline and must be followed. As I moved to college, I was involved with many more leaders where I can learn. Now I understand that leadership is more than just being a role model. Being a leader means that he/she should have good decision-making skills. If someone were to have another idea contradicting to the leader, the leaders must provide valid and reasonable arguments to support his/her statements or to think critically for the best of the goal. Lastly, leaders must also display positive etiquette to other people in the society to show his/her professionalism and respect.
Enthusiastic Student Grader
Autumn 2019
1. Assemble Consistency Skills Through Student Grader Role
Being elected as a student grader was a privilege as it proved that I have a potential from what I learned. It was a flexible work as I can do my task remotely, and each grading task would take up to about 4 hours, except grading exams which consumes 8 hours. I have to set up my own rubric and be consistent with marks deductions. My purpose for being a grader is to get a flashback of what I learnt in that course, and gain personal skills for my personal character, such as accuracy, being responsible, etc. It was a valuable experience as I earned new learning outcomes in comparison to my previous work.
2. Personal Importance of Work
This role was important to me because it expands my working experience and knowledges. It was a different working experience compared to my previous jobs. I gained a lot of skills from this work, such as to be accurate and consistent. It is crucial for me to keep a constant grading criterion when grading the homework and exams to avoid inequality. The role was important in another way because I got the chance to revise the course material and figure out the mistakes I made when I took the class as a student.
3. Tasks Accomplished
Attend meetings with instructors and Teacher's Assistant to discuss grading criteria and grading outcomes.
Proctor/invigilate midterms and final exams.
Set up a grading criteria and rubric for each homework and exams.
Provide and update/report to the Professor on the class’ performance for each homework and exams (for example, common mistakes made by students).
Maintain grading criteria and grading records on student performance
Score exams and homework.
Provide written feedback on exams, homework, and other deliverables, according to the criteria established by the instructor.
Attend class lectures.
4. Leadership Competencies Gained
Other’s Perspective:
Throughout grading the assignments and exams, I had never encountered grading multiple-choice questions. I faced all qualitative or quantitative answers where I have to grade them based on the quality of the answers that was presented and the final answer (usually numeric). When facing qualitative answer, it takes up more time than grading quantitative answers as quantitative answers has a fixed value and working solutions. However, qualitative answers may be presented in a different way, and it is the grader’s responsibilities to interpret them properly and grade it in a proper manner depending on the rubrics. Crucial part of this task is that I have to identify the important point of the answer. If any is missing, I have to decide how much to deduct, and this has to be done throughout all other assignments or exam papers in the same way. Through this experience, I had learnt to interpret other’s perspective understand their thoughts.
Helping others:
Being a student grader will not only help me to grow, but also help the students and professors. By identifying students’ mistakes from their assignments, I am indirectly helping them to figure out their mistakes in their assignments. By doing this, it will help the students to not repeat the same mistakes in their exams. On every assignment, I always gave students comments no matter what score they earned. If they earned full points, I will give them compliments or words of encouragement, if not, I will let them know what mistakes they made and what is the correct answer to their mistakes. Being a grader helps the professor in couple of ways as well. Professors in Michael G. Foster School of Business mostly perform researches. By proctoring exams and grading the assignments and exams, it will reduce the Professor’s time on course related hours and those hours could be spent more on doing research.
Writing:
Grading exams and homework is not only about ticking and crossing answers from a paper. It also involves a lot writing comments and reports to the students and professors. From these tasks, I was able to improve my writing skills as I have to write a lot of feedback to students’ mistakes and help them to improvise and prevent future similar mistakes. I also voluntarily wrote reports for each assignment to let my professor know on the class’ overall performance. By doing these, I was able to improvise my writing skills and make sure that I have my message properly interpreted and delivered correctly to the professor and students.
Providing feedback:
Since one of my responsibilities as a grader is providing feedback, I believe that my skills on providing feedback is improving, but there are still a lot of areas where I can improve. Providing feedback is more than just telling students where they loss points or what they are missing. It is significant as a grader to let the students know what kind of information is lacking from the provided answers. How can the answers be improved, or what went wrong with the answers that leads to wrong number? From this experience, I also learnt that feedbacks can be given in different format and which should format should be chosen. Feedback can be written in complete sentence, or in short by telling the working solutions, etc. When providing feedback to students, I usually write in short sentence and provide summary of the working solutions. When giving feedback/report to professors on summary of the homework, I used full sentence and provide detailed explanations on the grade summary.
Plan:
Since working as a grader allows me to work remotely, I helped me managed and plan my own time and preference to when I should grade the exams based on my business. However, it sometimes les to procrastination. Therefore, this experience taught to plan out my schedule very well for when I can focus and concentrate on grading. After grading couple of assignments, I also learnt on my planning strategy to grade the assignments. Rather than grading each paper one by one, I learnt that it is more systematic to grade the exam per question across all papers which results in better grading criteria. It also made my work become more efficient as I do not have to come back and forth between different questions.
5. Lessons Learned and Future Oriented Statement
When speaking of the future, I hoped that my learning experience as a student grader may develop may personal skills like time management, organizational skills, consistency, and expand my networks as I met a lot of new students. By Spring 2020, I will be a grader again as the course are only offered during Fall and Spring quarter. I hope that the qualities that I gained for myself can be seen by others through my resume or my actions outside of class, hopefully it can support me to earn my first job after graduation. Not to mention, I can’t wait to be a student grader again.

Treasury Intern
Summer 2019
Exploring Treasury Department in Banking Industry; Modelling Transactional Platforms
Earning an internship position in Bank Central Asia’s (BCA) Treasury Department was a beautiful experience to conclude my junior year. BCA is one of the top four well-known banks in Indonesia. A lot learning experience was gained from the 2-month internship program. My purpose to join this internship is to apply the knowledge that I learned to a real-life working environment and promote a different mindset and opinions of a generation Z. The experience was valuable as not only I learned from the opportunity, but others learned from me. In addition, it was a great chance for me to improve my interpersonal skills.
2. Personal Importance of Work
It was an important role because this was my first office job. I got the impression of how working in an office feels like. It reminds of a quote by Tod Bolsinger which said, “The world in front of you is nothing like the world behind,” which means I will always encounter something new. I was able to improve banking knowledge by meeting finance and banking experts in the department. But the crucial part of the internship is the chance where I can analyze their foreign exchange transaction system and implement improvements from the user-end and banker’s end. It was an opportunity where I can show off my Information System skills and put it into the application.
3. Tasks Accomplished
Implement modifications and improvements for BCA's foreign exchange application system, J-Valas
Completed the Association Cambiste Internationale Financial Market Association (ACIFMA) E-LEARNING courses and modules on treasury division (Treasury Products & Activity, Derivative Products, Problems and Opportunities in Treasury)
Study the flow and process of how foreign exchange transaction takes place under Indonesia Central Bank's regulations.
Create daily market update report on stocks, foreign exchange, and fixed income.
Conduct research on 2007 US Subprime Crisis, carry trade, Money Market & Foreign Exchange Arbitrage
Learn ACIFMA Market Code of Conduct and Dealer's Handbook 2017

Analysis
The most exciting part of this internship was the time where I can analyze the foreign exchange application for improvements. This part of my task was very meaningful because it is very related to what I learnt as an Information System (IS) student. I took a lot of notes when getting to know how the application works. I analyze every detail of the flowcharts for how the transaction using this application took place. I interviewed the banker and user who used the application and look at the areas where improvement can be introduced. With depth analysis combined with primary research, I develop good conclusions for the application’s improvements. As an IS major student, analysis has been a great part of my educational path, it is a skill that I used in every class every day. Despite I do analysis often, I believe that I can still improve this skill by doing more projects and be open minded.
Problem Solving
As an intern, my experience may not be eligible to work as a full-time banker like the other employees, therefore one of responsibilities is to visualize the Treasury Department and solve their problems. Couple of the problems that I was asked to solve was how to improvise their official website and identify the problems with their foreign exchange platform. It was very interesting when I first was assigned with the task because I have to figure the problems first, and then try to solve the problem. Meanwhile the bankers using the app are actually doing just fine with the application. From this experience, I used my analysis skill to identify the problems and come up to a solution. It also made aware that sometimes when we are just doing fine with a project/process, there are always problems that can be identified, and to what extent do we need to solve that problems depend on how big its impact to the project.
Functioning Independently
The nature of my work in the internship is to function independently. I do not interact much with the other employees during working hours as my work does not contribute to the operations of the Treasury Department, but more to the products’ side. My works/projects are mostly 2-3weeks long which are related to development or research. Unlike other bankers who were on the phone most of the time, I was on my laptop almost the whole day. I became to work independently because of the nature of my responsibilities. I only interact with the bankers if I had questions where the answers cannot be found in the internet. Functioning independently directly improves my research and analysis skill as well. Although I do not work with much people for the projects, I still try to maintain my teamwork skills by communicating and asking for help when I need one. Therefore, I learned that functioning independently and teamwork are two crucial skills that must be balanced throughout the working environment.
Ethics
By working in a professional environment, ethics is one of the leadership competencies that I gained the most. Realizing that I will meet professionals who passed by my table every day every hour, I have to adjust proper ethics to display my professionalism. One of the simplest examples of ethics in the office was dress code. I have to dress up business casual every day to show proper ethics. Body language and greetings also played a big role in ethical skills, in terms how do I properly greet seniors, or should I bow down, and how should I display proper facial expression. Lastly, writing emails also require proper ethics in terms how do I properly greet my seniors and how should end the sentences in my email. Overall, I believe I have learnt so much ethics, I just have to adjust myself on how I portray professionalism in different working environment.
Research
One of my tasks during the internship was to research on the 2007 US Subprime Mortgage Crisis, Carry Trade, Money Market and & Foreign Exchange Arbitrage. Some of these topics such as arbitrage and carry trade was a difficult topic. Even searching on the internet in comparison to asking for interpretations from the bankers of what are these about may differ. Because of this situation, I was motivated and pushed beyond my limit to deepen my research skills. By asking more experts, especially those audience who I will present the topic too, I know that I will have a more reliable answer from them and therefore that was what I did. Overall, I believe that I made a good approach for asking more experienced bankers, but I am sure that I still need to improve my research skills.
Verbal Communication
As I am working in the Treasury Department of a well-known bank in Indonesia, all the employees in there are professionals. Especially most of them are bankers who made lots of phone calls per day. With the given atmosphere, I became to learn how do I speak properly, politely with the proper body language to those employees, not to mention if seniors came to the office and talked to me about the progress of my project. The situation in the office as a Treasury Intern has motivated me and improved the way I communicate to people. It helped realize the different ways I should communicate with people in the office.

5. Lessons Learned and Future Oriented Statement
When speaking of the future, I hoped that my learning experience as an intern may develop my personal skills like ethics, communication skills, knowledge and expand my networks as I met a lot of new people. By June 2020, I will graduate with Bachelor of Art in Business Administration, concentrating on Information System (IS) and Operations & Supply Chain Management (OSCM). I hope that the qualities that I gained for myself can be seen by others through my resume or my actions outside of class. Hopefully it may also contribute to my learnings as I will continue my education with a Master of Science in Information System (MSIS) by Summer 2020 in University of Washington.

Catholic Believer
Picture above shows the location and retreat participant, one MUDIKA's main activity.
Sept 2016-Present
Gathering Catholic Believers to Deepen their Religious Faith:
One key learning experiences that I have was my current role as the advisor and event organizer of the Indonesia Catholic Youth Organization (known as MUDIKA). I earned my role as an advisor due to my experiences and professionalism. I was in charge for providing advice and feedbacks to the organization, monitor and assist the other event organizers’ activities and responsibilities. This role was an amazing experience since I treat it as a get-away from my homework and busy class schedules. I appreciate getting the chance to collaborate with people of different age groups and organize activities like retreats and fundraisings. It was a valuable experience as it taught me about time management, leadership, responsibilities and being professional.
2. Personal Importance of Work
This role was important to me in several ways. Firstly, I learnt a lot of skills from this role such as time management, leadership, being open-minded, and it definitely improved my communication skills as I often speak in public for the organization. In addition, I was able to network with so many experts from different backgrounds, I learnt a lot of tips and tricks to earn a job, as well as how to deal job interviews. But the most important part of this work is that it fills out my leisure time where I can have fun with my friends and do productive things for the organization.
3. Tasks Accomplished
Arrange meetings among advisors to discuss about the organization’s performance and status.
Gather the whole officers to organize large scale events like Christmas party or Easter day.
Reserve the necessary pick up locations for fund-raising.
Monitor the target amount to be achieved for fundraisings and motivate other officers who were performing beyond expectations.
Managed the financial report of organization’s cashflows.
Encourage and invite Catholic students to participate in the organization for the purpose of networking and be active outside of the classroom.
Organize sequence of events for the retreats.
Prepare equipment for Sunday mass at church.
4. Leadership Competencies Gained
Decision Making:
Decision making is a frequent occasion that I have to face most of the time in the community. I provide approval or disapproval for the activities that are proposed to me. There were couple of times when decision making made me nervous for two reasons. One, I was concern whether the idea of the activity will benefit the community or not. Second, when I have to make the decision on my own because of the absence of other advisors, I have the power to determine the action to be taken, but the burden lies on me if it does not go well. One precedence related to decision making was choosing the right date for fund raising. Fund raisings is an activity that many Indonesia organization do. MUDIKA was very particular with the dates of fund raising because I do not want to clash with other fund raisings as it may reduce potential buyers. However, with proper communication and collaboration with other organization, I tried to make sure that fund raisings do not become a competition among organizations. Therefore, I learnt that I have to perform primary research for particular dates before deciding fund raising’s date.
Receiving Feedback:
MUDIKA held many events throughout the quarter, between 3-5 events per quarter, depending on public holidays, holy week, and business of the officers. After each event, I always gather all the officers to reflect on the event that was hold. The purpose of this gathering will help the organization to find areas of improvement for future similar activities. When doing the reflections during meetings, a lot of feedbacks were received from one another. The feedbacks’ other than flavor of food that were received includes, methods of distribution, flow of operations, and many more. I really cherish the feedbacks that I received for me and the community because I truly believe it will grow the organization in the long run.
Mentoring:
As one of the senior members in MUDIKA organization, as well as an advisor, I had the chance to share my experience with other new officers, and I hope that they could learn from me as well. As an advisor, I had the opportunity, and it is my responsibility to monitor what the new officers are doing. I have the permission to provide coaching if they made a mistake or if some tasks could be done in a better way. By coaching them, it sometimes made me realize of the common mistake that officers may do. But the crucial part of coaching is that it helps each officer to become more productive and efficient with their work.
Collaboration:
Collaboration is another competency that everyone gained in MUDIKA organization. As an organization, tasks are always done together. Each individual or divided team may have different tasks, but it all leads to one goal, whether it is fund raising, holding retreats, etc. Each of the task may be precedence to the other or must be simultaneously done, etc. The way MUDIKA members work with our responsibilities must consist collaboration. By collaboration, it means that members will communicate with whoever they need to communicate to make the objectives flawless which eventually leads to the expected goal. By collaborating with others, not only my communication skill has grown, but my teamworking skills, critical thinking, patience, and many more qualities are improved. Many skills could be earned from different responsibilities, what skills that are earned just depends on the nature of the goal.
Conflict Negotiation:
In MUDIKA organization, members grew with different learnings and teachings from their parents. The way each individual perceive situations may differ between one another. Therefore, when decision making takes place, all members and advisors may have different thoughts. In addition, each individual has different amount of experience in MUDIKA to provide their answers. The more experienced they are, the harder it is to change their mind because their answers are supported with precedence. But results of precedence in the present may changed overtime. Therefore, there are no right or wrong answers when making decision, it all depends on who can support their ideas better. This kind of situations happened many times to me and it improvise my conflict negotiation, it taught me how do I support my ideas very well. But then, having my conflict negotiation skills improved doesn’t mean that I have to be hardheaded with my decision, I still have to be open minded to other’s thoughts and let them win if they have better ideas.
Service:
Working in MUDIKA organization will definitely show an act of service, the reason is because the involvement will help the continuity and activities of the community. Doing a service in MUDIKA is very beneficial as the activities varies from one task to the other and each activity has its own unique point of view. Volunteering in MUDIKA is considered to be a service because volunteers are not paid to perform their task and responsibilities. In fact, they received certificates of acknowledgement for their hard work and contribution, and the volunteers themselves will definitely learn some values to take away. Responsibilities are given when they are willing to commit for the position they accept.
Personal Contributions:
As one of the main officials of the MUDIKA members, there are so many events and activities that I have to think about to make MUDIKA succeed. When doing a contribution, there are so many factors to be considered, things like budget, feasibility, success rate and more. This situation had forced me to enhance the way I think and upgrade the quality of my personal contributions. Although I am just an advisor to the community, I also help the members when running and preparing events because personal contributions are very important to MUDIKA’s success. Therefore, as an advisor, not only I contribute in terms of energy and effort, but also in terms of ideas.
5. Lessons Learned and Future Oriented Statement (~80-120 words)
When it comes to my future, I expect that the values I gained from MUDIKA may helped me establish my communication skills and develop wider connections with experts and leaders. The development in competencies that I gained will keep growing over time as I am still involve with MUDIKA and I learn new things everyday there. I hope that the qualities that I gained for myself can be seen by others through my resume or my actions outside of class, hopefully it can support me to earn my first job after graduation.

Consulting Apprentice
The picture above shows the day when I do a client visit to The SweetSide in Wallingford with Kara, the owner(left) and Elizabeth, our advisor(right).
Jan-Mar 2020
1. Establishing Consulting Experience by Expanding Local Business
Participating in case competitions is what I love to do. From there, my passion in consulting gloomed and I decided to join a consulting class (Marketing 445) to gain deeper knowledge about consulting in real-life. The experience is very memorable as there were a lot of aspects of consulting that I learned. Many guest speakers came to class and share their experience that were beneficial for our consulting cases. Overall, it was a valuable because I got the chance to work with new teammates and do a real-life consulting to a dessert store under the supervision of my professor and mentors.
2. Personal Importance of Work
This role was important to me in many ways. Being a consultant obviously consist a lot interaction in his/her daily work, whether it is with client or team. By having lot of interaction, it will definitely improve my communication and ethical skills. In addition, it inspired me to differentiate my communication style depending on the personality of my audience. I also desire a career in consulting in the future, therefore this role was also important as it gives me an overview of a career in consulting.
3. Tasks Accomplished
Conduct internal and external analysis for the expansion of the business.
Hold regular client and mentor meetings.
Create weekly updates to monitor the progress of the consulting project.
Perform a client site visit to investigate the situation of the business.
Distribute and analyze café expansion surveys made from Google Forms to observe the customer’s taste and preference.
Prepare weekly meeting materials such as presentation or deliverables.
Maintain communication with client and mentors about of meeting times and venue.
Create a report once every two weeks on the updates of the research and recommendations to suggested.
4. Leadership Competencies Gained
Responding to change
One of the difficulties that I encountered during the project was sudden changes. Initially, I was requested to expand a wedding cake boutique to gain larger customer margin, and suddenly the scope was changed to expanding into a café. As me and my group were very puzzled with the updates, it affects a lot of our researches where some became pointless. Changes in level of performances of each group member also took place along the project duration as each member has their own busy schedule which caused them to contribute less. These situations had taught me on how I respond to unexpected shocks when doing project. As long as I can stay calm and focus, I considered myself to be adaptable to changes in different environment. This experience also reminds me of what Tod Bolsinger said, “adaptation is everything in an uncharted territory.”
Resiliency
Setbacks is a common thing that happen during the group project. There were many moments where the members are struggling with their task in terms of time management due to the full load classes they signed up for. Even debates took place as the team’s performance directly affect the quality of reports that were to be submitted. When this happened, our group quickly met with one another, and share the problems and issues that directly affect the group’s performance. By identifying the individual’s problem, a conclusion can be made to tackle the issue. Form this experience, I learnt that problems will always arise in a group, but what matters the most is how do we get back up.
Responsibility for personal behavior
The workload of this project is tremendously high, and it also requires high standard as many other consultants, clients and mentors will read the deliverables and analyze my group’s recommendation. Because of this, it is very important for each member to perform at their best and be responsible with their tasks. There were moments where I was behind schedule on this task, but my honesty by admitting my mistakes had led me to be supported by my group mates, and vice versa. From this experience, I learned that being honest with my team members will eventually make them understand my perspective and hence I ended receiving support.
Facilitation
As there are a lot of things that must be organized along the project, facilitation is another competency that I gained. I always monitor the overall group activity and performance. Suppose if there are meeting that will happen in future, I could simply book a study room for the meeting and notify the parties involved in the meeting. At the beginning of the project, I always manage for which task to be completed by whom and what are their status. If a task is behind schedule, I simply announce my team to step up the performance and finish what must be done. Being a facilitator is a good skill where it taught to be organized and manage the way I communicate with peers when trouble happened.
Diversity
Since my group has people from different culture and backgrounds, it was a great opportunity for me to diversify my learning experience and knowledge that I learn with. Not only I did learn from my group mates, but I also learned from them. The idea where my group contains diverse individuals had caused the consulting project to become more valuable and insightful. The reason is that more different ideas had been contributed towards the thought of expanding the business. Being able to diversify is definitely a good action and we are willing to approach ourselves to something new that we haven’t seen from other’s perspective.
Self-Development
Being a consultant in this course not only increase my consulting knowledge, but also develop my interpersonal skills. I learned a lot of values and learning coming out of this course. I spent more than 100 hours in this course to make sure that the expansion plan for the business works. With all the things that I have done, I pushed myself beyond what I already can do. I got the chance to maintain communication with the client and set proper meeting times. Although these are simple task, but proper communication skills are required. Not to mention, there are still many newer tasks that I encounter such as client meetings, and many more. All the learning that I received form this course definitely develop me to a better individual.
Group Development
Commitment is extremely fragile to this course. Anybody who doesn’t commit to their responsibilities will burden the other team members with more responsibilities. For the past 3 months, I trust my other team members with each of the responsibilities that were assigned, and we compiled it once we finish with our research. Although each of us has different levels of difficulty with our task, we all tried to finish it with the designated timeline. We tried to spend as much time as we can when we have not finished our work because there were just too many tasks. By being responsible and caring towards the responsibilities, I feel that group development is something that is earned.
5. Lessons Learned and Future Oriented Statement
When speaking of the future, I hoped that my learning experience as a consultant may develop my personal skills consulting skills, communication, writing and expand my networks as I met new people with different background and expertise. With the 3 months experience in this consulting project, I hope it may help me prepare for job interviews related to consulting and give me an overview of how a real consultant in the offices working life feels like. I also wish that my learning experience as a consultant can be seen by others through my resume or leadership skills.
